At The Dental Co. we pride ourselves on being a Family Friendly Dental Practice. We offer FREE NHS Dental Care for all patients under 18 years of age. However private options are also available on request. 

We offer a range of teeth straightening options, should your child require them. This can be available under the NHS however an Orthodontic Assessment will be required to determine patient’s eligibility. In this case we will refer to a NHS Orthodontist for a full assessment and treatment plan.

If your child is not eligible for NHS orthodontic treatment, we have a range of orthodontic treatments that are available on a private basis. 

Childsmile

Children’s Oral Health is also an important part of The Dental Co’s ethos. We believe that creating a healthy relationship between a child and their dentist ensures for long-lasting good oral health results! 

We are proud to be a Childsmile practice! The Childsmile programme is available across Scotland and is designed to improve children’s oral health. By participating in the Childsmile programme, The Dental Co. team are available to give advice and support on maintaining a healthy mouth and prevent your child from suffering from tooth decay in later years. 

Our Team are available to give advice on;

• Advice on healthy snacks, drinks and weaning. 
• “Spit Don’t Rinse” and other toothbrushing techniques
• Give advice on the development of teeth and how to keep them healthy and strong
• Answer any questions on tooth brushing or dental care in general
• Advise parents on how to practise good oral health techniques at home
• Provide clinical support by applying a topical fluoride varnish every 6 months
